They include leadership; business skills and knowledge; communication and social management; information and education in health. To work effectively with a healthcare company, managers must have several special skills. These methods are often considered key capabilities. Consequently, the main ability is to identify the organization that provides the basis for business growth. Through the use of community opportunities, new opportunities open

These key skills should be used for self-assessment in order to assess strengths and weaknesses. These weaknesses can be altered and developed through knowledge and continuous learning. First of all, it is necessary to know the state of the entire fitness category of the sector and how it is used in the health sector before deciding how to properly use the skills before learning them. Emergency managers solve different problems in different conditions. Some of their organizations have fully defined the functions of these managers. These professionals work in many drug management departments. These areas include financing for insurance, insurance and claims management; emergency repair; medical research; psychological and medical care and event organization and event organization. Many health management programs provide patient safety and reduce admissions.

In public health emergencies, all health professionals, regardless of there are of specialty have an obligation to have the fundamental understanding of disaster emergency system and how various house roles intersect in protection health, disease and injury. In this case, all health disciplines should have a range of understanding of some illnesses and injuries and how they might respond to them to protect life. Understanding the role their expertise might play to protect life is an added advantage. It is important that they should be able to recognize a potential public health threat and take the necessary steps in reporting the threat. The bottom line here is a health professional, no matter the field is not your ordinary community member when it comes to health matters, protecting life and ensuring patient safety. By virtue of their profession, they have a higher calling when it comes to such health matters (James et al., 2010).
Some core competencies described by James include detection and communication, preparation and planning, and safety and security. Some of the ways core competencies can be demonstrated include collecting and analyzing health care related information that will enable the health care managers to understand the health threats and even rank them in terms of urgency. In addition, coming up with health programs that address prevention health issues among all ages can be a great way to demonstrate preparation and planning competency (James et al., 2010). For example, this can be coming up with a nutritional program to teach members of a community or population the importance of nutrition in their health and the way they can change behavior to utilize such approaches as factoring nutrition in their diets.
Some of the hazard-specific core competencies for a hospital emergency manager are communication, resources and assets, and security and safety. Taking an example of a hurricane, communication will be important to this for a hospital emergency manager. He or she will be required to notify the hospital community of the impending hurricane. In addition, as part of the preparation, they will be required to have information collection, storage, and backup systems. Finally, it will be necessary for them to establish an incident command center if and when the hurricane comes (Liu et al., 2018).
